Leave the cooking (and cleaning) to us, while you enjoy a breezy summer evening celebrating this French national holiday with dinner and drinks prepared by us.

Our Bastille Day picnic bags include curated drinks and dishes prepared by members of the Les Dames d’Escoffier Kansas City chapter. Some of the most amazing women from Kansas City’s food and drink scene have come together to create this memorable picnic just for you!

Date – Friday, July 15

Each picnic feeds at least two and includes:

  • Baguette
  • Pork Rillettes
  • Charcuterie & Cheese Tray
  • Smoked Salmon Spread
  • White Cannellini Bean Dip with Thyme & Lemon
  • Wild Rice, Sundried Tomato, and Fresh Basil Salad
  • Braised Vegetable, Mushroom & Tofu Salad with Chili Oil
  • Fresh Grapes
  • Mixed Berry Jam
  • Marcona Almonds, Dried Cranberries & Apricots
  • Lemon Bars
  • Chocolate
  • French Macarons

PLUS, the picnic bags include a cocktail for two and a bottle of your choice of French white or rosé wine. (Additional bottles of wine available for purchase for additional fee.)

Each picnic bag includes all food, wine, and cocktails for $125.

Choice of wine:

White Wine

Chateau Revelette Blanc Coteaux d’Aix-en-Provence, France

50 % Rolle / 30 % Ugni Blanc / 20 % Sauvignon Blanc

Aged in concrete tanks. This wine evolves slowly, the mouth opens with aromas of candied white fruits, and amplifies with fat. A beautiful freshness on the finish. Fun & fresh with a great citrus finish.

 

Rosé Wine
Les Cardonnières Coteaux d’Aix-en-Provence, France

Blend of Syrah and Grenache. All about fruit, crisp and lightly textured, this is a ripe wine. The tangy edge partners with fresh red fruits combine to produce a balanced wine that is ready to drink.

Additional bottles of the wines may be purchased for an additional $20 per bottle.

 

*Note: each picnic for two will include everything you need to enjoy your meal on the spot including two plates, silverware, napkins, two wine tumblers and a wine opener.

*Funds raised benefit the Kansas City Chapter of Les Dames d’Escoffier, a 501(c)(3) organization dedicated to supporting women in the hospitality, food, and fine beverage industries.
