Grab your friends and pick a park or just plan to meet up after work in your own backyard to celebrate Bastille Day like the French do, with a picnic for two . . . or four or six or eight depending on the size your group. Leave the cooking (and cleaning) to us, while you enjoy a breezy summer evening celebrating this national holiday in France with dinner and drinks prepared by us.
Our Bastille Day picnic bags include curated drinks and dishes prepared by members of the Les Dames d’Escoffier Kansas City chapter. We have pulled together a collection of the most amazing women from Kansas City’s food and drink scene to create a memorable picnic for two to help raise money for our Educational Fund supporting women in the field of the culinary arts.
Each picnic feeds two, and includes:
Baguette * Patè * Smoked Salmon Dip * Meat & Cheese Charcuterie * Citron Fromage Blanc * Smoked Gouda Pimento Cheese * Mixed Grain Salad with Couscous, Orzo and Quinoa tossed with Ratatouille Vegetables, Goat Cheese and Red Wine Vinaigrette * Carrot & Chickpea Salad with Fresh Herbs and Cumin Vinaigrette * Fresh and Pickled Vegetables * Marinated Olives * Lemon Bar * Shortbread Fruit-filled Linzer Cookie
PLUS, you’ll get two French 75 cocktails made with Lifted Spirits Gin and Bisol Prosecco “Jeio” and a bottle of your choice of white or rosé wine, or you can upgrade your bottle of wine for a small additional fee.

Please note that each picnic for two will include everything you need to enjoy your meal on the spot including 2 plates, silverware, napkins, 2 wine tumblers, and a wine opener. Enjoy!
